small little things...

so i've been home eating and sleeping and playing Age of Empires for almost a week (Stanley must think i'm such a loser)... wonder how hunky i would become after having huge meals every day... well wanted to actually read a good textbook (that i was supposed to read for the last semester) but in the rush to the airport that day, i left it back in S'pore.

Moral of the Story: do not stay up until 4am to pack your luggage, especially when your flight is at 12 noon, as this would cause serious pre-flight scare that might well result in you running like a complete idiot. and when you have a tax refund item that's worth above a hundred bucks, do check your insurance as heart attacks are not uncommon (damn).

oh besides all those pretty little things, i've been reading newspapers as well. old vietnam newpapers, months ago... there's this "To be or not to be" (Vietnamese: Ton tai hay khong ton tai) project by a law graduate who wishes to "fight" for legal names to street children. there's this American guy, Kenneth something, who decided to devote his time to charity work for Vietnamese children at the expense of his own business after his first visit to the country. and there's this poor gentleman who's been taking care of an old woman who was taking care of his poor mother who died of cancer (pardon my tortuous language here).

i feel like i've been underappreciating my birth certificate (and i hate underappreciation).

anyway, i wanna say that i love my BGS group real loads... Jasmine, Grace, Shawn and Ray, i decide not to email you personally (cuz it's a bit gay) to tell you that i think the final report you worked on is simply fantastic =) i'm proud of us =) and i'm sorry i couldn't stay up with you till 3am the other night. neither could i log in to skype to discuss Disruptive Technology with Grace...
