wind it up

ooh yeah, i'd be taking 4 classes the coming term. felt a tinge of loss for like a second over the few overbid e-dollars. but well, what matters more is that i got the classes (philosophy of religion, marketing, economic development in asia and democracy). and i kind of like the timetable. the way it should be for me to wind it up for the semester of redemption.

and so i ended my work at loyang secondary school. was kind of sad on that last day. but i was all happy and sleeping soon after. yeah i'm gonna miss some kids for a while. anyway i stopped working for a good reason. or maybe two. and up to date i'm glad i did. there's much to enjoy and to do, at least until this weekend. this council day thing is a mess...

and despite the sissy things i had done on me and the cutesy (and hurting) abuse, it's been some good time. you know i wanna wind it up.

me myself and i

and so the 3 day relief teaching thing turned into a 3 week babysitting stint. it's been welcoming. a little in excess at times. the kids have been noisy and nasty. well, and sometimes they really mindfuck me bad. but i do think there's more than just academic excellence (or compliance) to a student. so yeah, the many boys and girls here are just cute beings who play deviant.

i had the most monotonous day. had to sit in some design and technology class. and i was so free and bored i was amused at the simplest thing. like all the tools and crafts and models the students are working on. like there was this back massage thing (was very tempted to try though it didn't seem to work too well). hmm and i realise the class is pretty well equipped. and it's like a neighbourhood school. tsk tsk. the Singapore norm is well others' luxury.

maybe that explains the Singapore competitiveness. even the UK has just commented that their GCSEs are just a watered-down thing of the O Levels. but i hate it when the economy here is doing good, especially when it's too good for my own good. like how rents and living expenses have all gone up, except my allowance (which might not even come). some things shouldn't stay the same man.

Lao Jiu - the 9th born

"written by the late Kua Pao Kun, Lao Jiu mirrors the struggles between pragmatic materialism and the pursuit of artistic excellence."

and so, the initial half hearted effort metamorphed into a spark that thrived on this thing called passion, camwhorish friendship, break-time gossips and harmless bickering. there was a time when the production was a pain; it took away my many things. and there was a time when it was my everything. i'd miss 1. the friends (yes, you bitches and jokers), 2. July 6 to 8 and 3. those 30 lovers of mine who appreciated the drama debut.

Thanks Pearlyn, for coming to watch me on your birthday itself. and Ivan, for rushing off from camp (to be a narcissist at home) to catch me in the act. and Ping Aik, the taxi wait was my pleasure. and Tiang Lim's camera phone made me all gorgeous at the end of the show.

and on Saturday, July 7, 2007, 19 ladies and gentlemen made me the happiest boy that walked the stage (the 20th overslept. oh well.) thanks Michelle and Sarah, for the purple rose. and you looked hot (especially Sarah). and Lusi, you shouldn't have passed me the absolut irresistible. the purple ribbon was cute though. and the note's sweet. thanks Xin Yi, for coming after 2 hours of sleep. and i could fall in love with your voice. and to Sherly, Ying Herng, She Weay, Kai Lin (though you overslept), Chun Leen, Chee Kiang and Chun Kiang, i'll always be with you, my sweet things. Brian and Yokey and Richard and Tikka, we were almost FABulous. if only Fel could make it. and Thu and Dung, your dresses looked great. and ooh, my Jasper friend felt hot on the neck after i did a certain intimate thing.

i had 3 ladies on my last night. and the boyfriends (such a convenient way to boost ticket sale). Angeline, i couldn't just thank you for coming down just for my show. of course i knew of your hidden agenda. and Davina, Lan Anh wasn't wrong about you. always supportive. and you know something Jing Ting, my friend said your boyfriend's really friendly.

we like to Stage It Stage It!
